NUERBURGRING, Germany – Triple world youngest champion Sebastian Vettel has finally tasted Formula One victory on his homeland in German Grand Prix on Sunday.
The young champion had never won in Germany before until days after his 26th birthday and a week after mechanical failure forced him to retirement. The main drama happened in the first 25 laps of the race when both Red Bulls have a tight race with polesitter, Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes.
"Thank you boys, that was a tough one. They gave me a run for my money. Yes, yes, yes and yes again," Vettel shouted.
He later said: "I'm very happy the race ended at 60 laps not 61 or 62."

Championship rival Kimi Raikonen’s Lotus finished second in the race, while his teammates, Romain Grosjean finished third behind.
