As much as it is exciting to see Djokovic and Murray being in the final for the singles championship, we cant Ignore the fact that we have a champion for the women singles. Serena being pulled out was such a shoker, and having Sharapova to have not been performing , did made space for a new world champion. It is amazing to see such talent in tennis,and it did proved a fact, that winning the tittle could be anybody's.
Lisiscki being defeated by Bartoli , by winning the tournament with the match point of 6-1, 6-4 , was an incredible game. It was also a shocking result , as Lisicki being the favorite to win simply because she ended the reining of serena williams , early this tournament. In the game of tennis anything goes , being world no 1 , doesn't conclude that the player will win the tournament, but it might make them as favorites of winning the tittle. Wimbledon 2013 is a unique tournament this year, as new fresh players taking the spot light.
"I've been practising my serve for so long. At least I saved it for the best one!" She also charmed by apologising for her imperfect English , said Bartoli. Bartoli has defeated Lisicki before, but she finally did it , at the grand final of them all, the Wimbledon 2013 championship.
