After an intense, grueling 3 hours and 9 minutes wait, the match finally ended and a new winner was crowned.

Andy Murray ended the hopes and prayers of many as has finally ended Britain’s 77-year wait for a men’s champion when he won his first ever Wimbledon title again world number one, Novak Djokovic.  This is Murray’s second Grand Slam title after he won 2012 US Open. This battle was not an easy one as the 26 year-old ended the game win a dramatic to win 6-4 7-5 6-4, claiming his victory, glory and fame.

The humble Andy Murray fought as hard as possible and never gave up and this was indeed one of the most exciting battle we’ve all seen in a very long time. Andy Murray was quoted saying “ I have played in a lot of Slam finlas, all against Roger or Noval. Roger is probably the greatest player ever, Novak is one of the mentally strongest ever. I never had experience on my side, to beat him was so tough, it was a such a tough match.

It was a historic day for many as Andy Murray officically became the most successful British man in terms of Grand Slam wins with 113 wins, ahead of the famous Fred Perry on 106 wins.
